As a trustee of The Imogen Cunningham Trust, Mr. Lorenz organized and curated exhibitions of Cunningham’s photographs and authored four major books on the photographer. .

(1 text-page with small corner-crease), with handwritten dedication to 'Mr & Mrs Leo Hilber + Micheline' signed 'Hamaya 1975', Publisher's original hardcover binding with plastic (acetate) jacket & orig. slipcase & obi-band. Near fine condition.
¶ Leo Hilber Swiss photographer from the town of Fribourg, went to Japan to take photographs for his publisher 'Office du Livre in Fribourg' were he met Hamaya. Japanese text with some English. Slipcase with original publicity paperstrip in Japanese (obi-band), printed paper over boards in clear acetate (plastic) dust jacket. Light soiling and creasing to the slipcase. Very light edgwear to the corners of the slipcase. Light waving to the top edge of the endpapers which is usual for this book. A near fine copy. A great collection of photographs of the varied landscapes and lifestyles of America in 1967 taken be a master Japanese photographer. Please notify before visiting to see a book. Prices are excl.
